This Privacy Policy explains how Jira Requirement Templates (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when installed and used with Atlassian Jira Cloud.

1. Data We Process
   The App may process the following information provided by or available through Jira Cloud:

• Jira project and issue information required to create work items from templates;
• Template configurations, including titles, descriptions, field values, and child work item definitions;
• Atlassian account identifiers and user references, such as assignees and reporters;
  Template change history and creation results;
• Technical information required for the App to operate correctly.

The App does not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, payment information, passwords, or authentication credentials.

2. How We Use Information
   We use the information only to:

• Create and configure Jira work items from templates;
• Apply field values and inheritance rules;
• Display template history and creation results;
• Provide, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the App;
• Respond to support requests.

We do not use the information for advertising, profiling, or selling user data.

3. Where Information Is Processed and Stored
   The App runs on Atlassian Forge and uses Atlassian-provided Jira APIs and Forge-hosted storage.

The App does not operate its own external database or analytics service, and does not intentionally transmit customer data to external servers controlled by us. Information processed by the App is handled within the Atlassian environment in accordance with Atlassian’s applicable terms, privacy documentation, and security controls.

Atlassian provides Forge-hosted storage for persistent App data, and Forge applications remain subject to Atlassian’s privacy and security requirements. (developer.atlassian.com)

4. Data Sharing
   We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Information may be processed by Atlassian as necessary to provide Jira Cloud, Forge, storage, security, and related platform services.

5. Data Retention
   The App retains template configurations and related history for as long as necessary to provide the App’s functionality.

When the App is uninstalled, App data may be deleted in accordance with the Atlassian Forge data lifecycle and applicable platform policies. We may also delete or update personal data when required by applicable law or a valid request.

6. Data Security
   We rely on Atlassian Forge’s platform security, access controls, tenant isolation, and hosted storage capabilities. We also limit the App’s access to the Jira permissions declared in its manifest.

However, no cloud service can guarantee absolute security.

7. User Privacy Requests
   If you believe that the App stores personal data relating to you and you would like to request access, correction, or deletion, please contact us using the support contact below.

We may need to coordinate with the Jira site administrator or Atlassian to process the request.

Forge developers are responsible for complying with applicable privacy requirements when storing Atlassian account identifiers or other personal data. (developer.atlassian.com)

8. Third-Party Services
   The App depends on Atlassian Jira Cloud and Atlassian Forge. Your use of Jira Cloud is also subject to Atlassian’s own terms and privacy policy.

The App does not intentionally use third-party advertising, tracking, or analytics services.

9. Changes to This Policy
   We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be published with a revised effective date.
